An interesting game for Arce (5-2) which played road game in San Marcos against 3rd placed San Marcos (3-2). Second ranked Arce managed to get a 9-point victory 68-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of San Marcos. Arce dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to San Marcos' 34. They outrebounded San Marcos 55-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Arce made 9 blocks. It was a great evening for Felix Aleman (-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 4 assists. Julio Ramirez helped adding 19 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Jose Gonzalez (177-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Liga Superior top team - Juayua (6-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Izalco (1-6) 67-45. It was a quality performance for Harrison Rieger who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Eduardo Mariona came up with 9 points and 13 rebounds for Izalco in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Juayua maintains first place with 6-2 record. Izalco lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost.

Nejapa - Izalco 81-69

Nejapa's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Izalco (1-6) 81-69. Nejapa dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Izalco's 42. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists.
